The don't starve together Pufferfish mod (2023)

The character

Don't starve characters are made up of lots of separate sprites all put together to created a 2D rig. So obviously that was what I did here. I took the pufferfish I usually use as my discord profile pic and added it to the game.

Also since obviously pufferfish don't have legs there is no leg bone and because a 2D pufferfish is essentially only a head I actually made the face the Torso instead of the head so the hands and tail would still work.

The mechanics

Since this was a simple mod I made for my self I didn't do anything crazy. The character has a few spawn items that would suit a pufferfish such as a puffy jacket because they puff up and s bird trap because the spikes.

It also has a unique mechanic where if a enemy damages it they take damage.
