This was a group game made together with some classmates at uni. My main task was UI and UX

The game has many different systems however since this is my portfolio I will only go over the parts I made.


The tutorial

The tutorial was completely made by me. The video of it above should speak for it's self really.



The tool tips

This is a system designed to show the player the stat's of the different weapons in the game.


It compares the stats of the weapon you're holding and tells you the damage or defense difference. It does this with green text for a positive change, Red text for a negative change and yellow text for a neutral change.

I also drew some of the UI art such as the 3D model of the coin in the Top left and some of the icons in the battle menu.

Evaluation of project

Overall I really enjoyed the project. I think considering we only had about three months to make it we managed to make a decent game. If I wasn't limited to time with this being a uni project I would have probably done some changes to the combat. I might have even made a real time version so it made more sense with the weapons that have projectiles such as the bow and gun.
